Manage organization information

Organization information identifies the workspace you are administering. Check its name, your user type and its plan before changing settings that affect other members.

Read the organization information

  1. Open Organization settings > Information.
  2. Check the organization's name, logo, creation date, plan and your user type in the header.
  3. If you administer several organizations, confirm that this is the intended one before opening Manage.

Viewers can consult this information. Updating the name or logo requires Administrator or Owner. Your user type belongs to the selected organization; being an administrator elsewhere does not grant this action here.

Every member sees the plan's enabled or unavailable features below the information; Administrators and the Owner also see inventory capacity. These capabilities describe the organization's plan, not every member's effective permissions. See the access model when a feature is included but an action remains unavailable.

  1. On Information, click Manage.
  2. Edit Name. To replace Logo, remove the existing image with its cross button, then select the new file.
  3. To remove an existing logo, use the image's removal button. Leave the image unchanged if you want to keep it.
  4. Click Validate.
  5. Check the displayed name and logo after the dialog closes.

The name is required and accepts up to 35 characters. The logo accepts JPEG/JPG, PNG and WebP, up to 10 MB and 1024 × 1024 pixels. Reduce an oversized file before selecting it.

Validate becomes available after a change. Cancel closes the dialog without saving the draft. If saving fails, inspect the message and recheck the current information before submitting again.

Changing the displayed name does not change the organization's URL or identifier. Existing links do not acquire a new address simply because you renamed the organization.

Find the appropriate administration action

Use members for invitations, access changes and departures. Set the hour at which the organization's emails go out with the notifications. Use subscription management for billing and plan changes, and usage for activity and limits.

The information form does not offer organization deletion or URL changes. Creating another organization is a separate organization access and creation procedure. Ending a subscription is also different from deleting the knowledge base.
