Get help from the AI assistant

You are looking for a button, you do not know which visualization to choose, or you want a list without building a filter. Ask Boldo's assistant, in your own words, as you would ask a colleague.

This guide takes five minutes. You will open the assistant, ask it how to do something, ask it about your data and let it fill in an asset for you.

Before you start

  • An administrator must give you access to the assistant. Without this access, the assistant icon does not appear.
  • Depending on the setting chosen by the administrator, the assistant reads your data or only how Boldo works. If it finds none of your assets in step 3, ask the administrator to open this access.

The assistant follows your rights. It never shows you data you could not open yourself, and it never changes anything without your approval.

1. Open the assistant

The assistant opens on the side, over the page you are on.

Click AI Assistant, the sparkles icon in the top bar. The assistant opens on the side, over the page you are on, so you keep what you were looking at.

Opened from an asset page or a visualization, the assistant knows what is on your screen. Open, at the top of the panel, expands the conversation to full screen.

2. Ask how to do something

You do not need to know where every feature is. Ask:

  • "How do I create a view that only shows my applications?"
  • "What is the difference between a view and a dashboard?"
  • "What kinds of assets does our organization use, and how are they linked?"

The assistant answers from Boldo's help and from the way your organization is set up. These questions work even in an organization that has no assets yet.

3. Ask about your data

Ask a question about your assets in your own words. The assistant searches the inventories and answers with a table.

A question, the table of results, then the result saved as a view.

For example: "Show me all my applications with a criticality of 5."

The assistant lists the matching applications, then offers to keep the list as a view, a filtered table you can open again whenever you want. Accept, and the view joins your visualizations.

To talk about a specific asset, type @ followed by its name. The assistant then knows exactly which asset you mean.

The assistant explains what is connected to an application and lists the links to check.

For example: "Explain what is connected to @CRM, and tell me which links may be missing."

The assistant describes the connected applications and activities, then lists what to check. It is a quick way to understand a part of your company you do not know yet.

4. Let it fill in an asset

When you create or edit an asset, an AI bar appears at the bottom of the form. Type what you want, and the assistant fills in the fields.

The AI bar fills in the fields and adds a relationship. Nothing is saved until you validate.

For example: "Fill in the missing fields, write a description, and link this asset to the @CRM application."

The assistant changes the form, not the asset. Read what it wrote, correct what needs correcting, then save. Undo AI changes cancels its last request.

5. Review before you apply

When you ask for something to be created, such as a view, a chart or an asset, the assistant prepares a proposal. Nothing happens until you read it and apply it. And you need the right to make the change yourself.

The assistant can make mistakes. Check an important answer before using it in a decision or a presentation.

Key points

  • Ask the assistant how to do something: it knows Boldo and your organization.
  • Type @ to point it at a specific asset.
  • It only prepares changes. You review them and decide.
