Maintain quality
Keeping a knowledge base useful involves three different tasks: assigning responsibility, completing information and checking whether it remains accurate. Boldo provides separate indicators for each.
Start with an owner who can read the asset. Complete or correct its information, then record an attestation after the review. Request another review when a new doubt arises.
Choose your task
| You want to… | Read |
|---|---|
| Interpret indicators and review deadlines | Understand quality and freshness |
| Designate responsible people | Assign or change owners |
| Resolve missing responsibility or access | Review assets without an owner or access |
| Record an owner's verification | Attest that an asset is up to date |
| Bring an already attested asset back for review | Request a new attestation |
| Coordinate work and reminders | Track and coordinate reviews |
| Fill the information used by the score | Improve asset completeness |
Home reviews and the quality report follow the selected data context. In a scenario, work on ownership and completeness. Return to real data to attest information, request re-attestation or send reminders.
Organize a review cycle
- Resolve ownership and access problems so each reviewer can open the relevant assets.
- Use the Home worklists to complete information and attest checked assets.
- Use the quality report to follow remaining work and coordinate the next reviews.
Owning an asset does not grant additional permissions. Completeness does not prove accuracy, and an attestation does not correct the data.
Administrators configure the quality program and revalidation delays. Each person controls their notification preferences.
