Join, create or switch organizations
An organization contains its own data, model, members and visualizations. One Boldo account can belong to several organizations, with different permissions in each. Switching organizations opens another working context; it does not copy your data.
Join your team
Ask your administrator to grant access to the email address you use, or follow your company's SSO instructions. If you receive an invitation asking you to set a password, follow Activate an invitation.
After signing in, Boldo may open an accessible organization directly or show a selection screen. On that screen, find the organization and select Access. If Sign in again appears, use the method indicated beside the organization.
A password account can exist without access to your team's organization. If it is missing, check the account's email address before asking the administrator to verify your membership.
Switch organizations
Save any changes in progress before switching. Some navigation paths request confirmation before you leave an unsaved editor; do not rely on that prompt alone.
- Select your avatar or initials in the top navigation bar to open your account.
- Stay on the Account page and locate My Organizations.
- Find the organization under My Organizations. A search field appears when the list contains more than six organizations.
- Select its card. The current organization is marked Current and cannot be selected again.
- Complete sign-in again if the organization requires another method.
- Check that the expected organization's home opens. Return to Account if needed to confirm its Current marker.
When you belong to several organizations, the logo at the top left also opens an organization menu. Select a name for a quicker switch. A search field appears in this menu when there are more than ten organizations. With only one organization, this menu is not offered.
Create an organization
Creating an organization starts a separate working environment. It is not a way to join an existing team. Creation options depend on your account's organization allowance and available subscription options.
Open Account from your avatar. On that page, locate Create organization and identify the form offered before proceeding.
A name field is available
- Enter a Name of 1 to 35 characters.
- Select the Create button next to the field.
- Wait for the organization list to refresh and locate the new organization.
- Select it to open its home, then check that it is the expected organization.
This path makes you the new organization's owner. It does not automatically move you there after creation. If a request fails or its result is uncertain, inspect the list before submitting it again.
A plan selection opens
Some accounts also offer a Create button that opens subscription choices. The window asks for a plan, billing frequency, number of users and organization name.
Review these choices and the displayed total before selecting Confirm. Continue only if you intend to subscribe. Use Cancel to close the window without starting checkout. After completing the subscription, check the organization list before trying to create it again.
If neither creation path is available, contact your administrator or Boldo. Your role in one existing organization does not determine your account's creation allowance.
Resolve an access problem
| State | Meaning and next step |
|---|---|
| Organization missing | Check your email address and ask an administrator to verify membership. |
| Sign in again | Access is granted through another sign-in method. Follow the indicated email or SSO route. |
| No sign-in method | No usable method grants access. Ask an administrator to check your access. |
| Organization disabled | Follow the displayed explanation and contact your administrator or Boldo. |
| Two-factor setup required | Complete the security setup requested before entering the organization. |
| Network access refused | Use your organization's authorized network or VPN, then try again. |
Signing out ends your session; switching organizations changes your current context. Neither action removes your membership or deletes an organization. This account page does not offer a self-service leave or delete action. Ask an administrator to handle a membership removal and its consequences for your responsibilities and content.
